Our volunteers are the heart of Special Reach! Their energy, kindness, and dedication help create fun, inclusive experiences for
the children and families we serve. We truly could not do it without our amazing volunteer community.
Ways to Volunteer:

Program Support – Volunteer at our Party Nights, Day Programs, and Summer Programs, where you can directly engage with the individuals we serve.

Special Events – Assist with our gala and other special events throughout the year.

Administrative Support – Help with office projects, organization, and program preparation weekdays between 10 AM and 5 PM.

Fundraising – Support our fundraising initiatives and help us expand our impact.

Advocacy – Share our mission with others and help raise awareness about inclusion and opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.
By volunteering with Special Reach, you are making a direct and lasting impact in the lives of children and families in our community.
How to Volunteer:
We are grateful for the support of our volunteers and ask that all volunteers sign up in advance for programs.
Step 1: Application Form

Teen Volunteers (Ages 15 & younger) – Please complete the Teen Volunteer Application below.

NOTE: Volunteers under 14 MUST volunteer alongside an adult (21 years or older).

Adult Volunteers (Ages 18+) – Please complete the Adult Volunteer Application below.

NOTE: All adult volunteers must pass a background check.

If you would like to volunteer as a group with your school, organization, business, or community team, please contact us at special.reach@gmail.com to coordinate a group volunteer opportunity.

Step 3: Zoom Training
-
After receiving your sign-up form, our team will contact you to schedule a required 1-hour Zoom training session prior to volunteering. This training is mandatory for anyone working directly with children and will count toward volunteer hours.
