Special Reach programs are designed to provide children with developmental delays, ages 6 year to 18 years old, with opportunities to develop their social skills while make fun memories. All our programs are equipped with trained and experienced staff and siblings, ages 5 years and older, are invited so that parents and caregivers get a well-deserved break.
Special Reach is proud to offer Alumni Enrichment Programs for past participants ages 19 and older to enjoy exclusive dinner parties and serve as mentors at all other programs.

Party Nights
​
Our Party Nights are a unique twist on Parents' Night Out that provide children with an opportunity to develop their social skills. It is exclusively for children with special needs ages 6 to 18 years old and their non-disabled siblings (ages 5 and older). This event is held on Friday nights from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM during the school year (August to May). Parents and caregivers get a well-deserved break, while the children have a PARTY!! These parties are themed and children enjoy a variety of games, collaborative video games, creative crafts, a small snack and drink, friendly interactions with others, and a time to DROP EVERYTHING AND DANCE! Dinner is not provided at Party Nights.

Day Programs

Our San Antonio Adventure Program and summer enrichment program are exclusively for children with developmental delays ages 6-18 years old and their non-disabled siblings (ages 5 and older).This program is designed to provide children with a memorable school holiday experience. Each program is held on designated days during the week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (early drop-off and late pick-up available upon request). Children transition through a series of interactive activities presented by special guests such as athletes, musicians, community heroes, etc. Snacks are provided at this program.

Alumni Enrichment Programs

Our Alumni Enrichment Programs are uniquely created for previous participants who are 19 years and older.
​
Alumni Dinner Parties: These exclusive themed events provide a fun and holistic dinner party experience including a 3-course meal, refreshments and activities that promote conversation and friendships.
​
Alumni Serves Program: Our Alumni are also invited to Party Nights and Day Programs to participate in designated mentorship roles showing off and growing their leadership and life skills while having fun participating in activities with everyone else.
